Description

Jacob S. Hacker is the Stanley B. Resor Professor of Political Science at Yale University and the Director of Yale’s Institution for Social and Policy Studies. An expert on the politics of U.S. health and social policy, he has written numerous scholarly articles for publications ranging from the "American Political Science Review," to the "New England Journal of Medicine." He is the author or co-author of five books, most recently, "Winner-Take-All Politics: How Washington Made the Rich Richer—And Turned Its Back on the Middle Class" (September 2010; with Paul Pierson).
